The purpose of this event is to celebrate the academic accomplishments of historically underrepresented, first-generational, financially-disadvantaged students from under-served communities. This free event consists of a dinner for families, graduate recognition, resource tables, and a dance.
Locally, Nosotros Alumni is an advocate for the ex-incarcerated, transitioning, and displaced individuals in recovery from substance abuse. We provide men with the necessary opportunities to become successful members in their families and society.

Nosotros & Nosotros Alumni were recognized by Councilmember David Alvarez and the City of San Diego City Council for their work in the community and commitment to creating change for disenfranchised communities.
Substance abuse is everyone's problem. Everyone's lives are affected directly or indirectly by this disease. Education is imperative for individual behavior change and for diminishing the stigma associated with ex-offender and recovering populations.
